Need Alps 150KBX2 Help!

I am searching for an Alps 150KBX2

It is a 150K stereo volume pot with 8 pins

(I'm not sure if this should be in D&S...)

Any help would be appreciated!

Search ebay for seller familygate He offers many Alps pots with pictures and datasheets.

I sent him a message last night and heard back this morning that he does not have any. I didn't realize this would be so hard to find...

What is this control for? Make? Model? Whats the issue with the old one? Is it broken?Missing? Or dirty?

It fits Carver MXR-130, MXR-150, and multiple models by Luxman, Yamaha, and others. It has internal problems. If you turn it all the way down the sound stops but then at the very end it comes back on. Also at most levels one channel is OK but the other can be too high or too low jumping around at random. It is clean but at least one of the pots in it is bad.

Question for the board: Can he use a similar pot with a different ohms rating?

Did you ohm it out to confirm?
