Need connector advice

I am looking for a female connector for these male, two-pin wire ends. I have four of these ends that will be connected in a parallel circuit (for lighting).

I had thought to make a receptacle with copper bus bars but it would be a lot of labor so am looking for an off-the-shelf solution. Has anyone seen this type of connector?

Wow, good luck with that. There are soooo many connector types and many didn't have wide spread use. How big are the plugs? (hard time judging without a reference) What kind of lighting are these for? Do you really need sockets for them? Unless it's something that would loose value by cutting them I'd be inclined to cut the ends and either direct wire or put more common plugs on them.

I don't know about "off-the-shelf" new solutions but if you can find an older German car stereo - VW/AUDI/BMW/MB etc they use these connectors as the speaker outputs. They're chassis mounted so you'd need to do some surgery. I'd go the VW route since those will be cheaper and some of the others use an external fader so the radio only has 2 outputs.

Perhaps a local car stereo store has one in their junk bin they could give you.

Yeah, modifying them would certainly be easier and I may just go that route. This is a small Ikea bookcase luninaire that I plan to use for bench lighting. It seems I can't get enough light on the bench.

Yes, looks very close to that, if not exactly. Now where do I get a barrier strip for multiples?
The other thing is that for $31.50/pr., I am now selling those in the rare white color, 2 pairs available, lol.

Edit: Found the connector name here under "loudspeaker connector"---DIN 41529!

You just google "DIN soeaker connector", and there you go ...

It might seem easy but there are multiple choices for DIN pin out types (2,3,4---etc) and I am trying to find the female socket. I see that Maplin carries a two-pin female line socket that I could probably make work but they are in the UK and shipping expense would kill the deal. I think I am going to embark on a DIY connector.

I decided that I was going to build a connector so I might as well get the whole shootin' match into one box. I used a Wharfedale tweeter box, a piece of acrylic, orphaned transformer, bridge rectier, fuse holder, single pole switch, some copper sheet, and various insulated connectors. Attached are the pics of the...uh...oh yeah,..... WELC-1000 Light Controller.
