Need experienced help choosing please.

I could use some help finding a decent turntable for under $300 if possible. This will be my first turntable and I have a several components I will experiment using it with. I’m looking for good bass and big rich sound. Aesthetics count too.

I’ll be using any of the following:
Sansui CA/BA 2000 separates
Sansui AU-9500 integrated
Marantz 2230 receiver
Setton 440 receiver

Speakers:
Original large Advents
New large Advents
Dynaco A25’s
KLH 23’s
Roger sound labs Elans
Pioneer CS a700’s

Some I’m considering are:

Technics sl 1950 - $200

Technics sl 1800 - $250

Dual 1219 - $250

Dual 1215S - $150

ProJect P 2.9 - $250

Rega planar 2 - $300

Pioneer PL-55DX - $330 Barely used, perfect condition

Sansui SR 2050C - $120

I'd get one of the Technics. Their head shells allow for simplified cartridge alignment using a Technics jig.

The Technics SL1800 would be my first choice. The 1950 is good too, but not as good. The Dual 1219s are very good, but MUCH more complicated mechanically. Even if they currently play, they should ideally be serviced before they are put into regular use. Unless it was very recently done, of course.

SL 1800 is a good choice - you’ll be able to tune for the sound you’re looking for with cartridge choice

Another vote for the 1800.

Go for the Technics SL-1800 with the adjustable spring suspension.
