Need help find a tube amp.

I really would like to find a tube amp preferably stereo and suggestions on wpc to deliver a decent signal to rattle the window frames,that is certainly negotiable. I have a neat old Heathkit mono tube amp that does an amazing job. It has been stored away for years.
Condition is not a big issue as long as the amp works.

Have you tried searching out an identical mate to your heath? Might be a good place to start. Wpc is going to depend on the efficiency of your speakers. Usually 20 WPC is considered sufficient with efficient speakers. If your speakers are 83db/w 200 watts may not be enough.
 
I guess that would be a good idea never really thought about that. Finding a mate to this amp pre-amp combo I bet will be a formidable task but one I will tackle first. Thank you

Pairing mono amps can be a pain, but there were a whole lot of Heatkits made. You may have better luck than you expect.
 
Honestly am quite surprised how good the response has been so far. Quite excited about finding another Heathkit W-5M amp WA-P2 pre-amp, getting them both upgraded and retubed.
Also now might be the time to get the equipment to test the caps values and maybe even a tube tester I'm enjoying being on a mission.

Found a W-5M and WA-P2, hoping and praying they do not get beat up too bad being shipped across this country. Also found a tube tester, feel like a kid in a candy store.
 
do you already have a preamp to go with your existing amp? you will need 2 preamps as both the preamps and amps are mono.
