Need help finding compatible cartridge/stylus

Hi,
I'm new to this forum. It was recommended to me by someone on reddit.
I have been trying to figure what sort of cartridge/stylus would work on this model you see in the picture.
It's Sanyo GXT 5260HK-2.
It still has the cartridge, but we lost the stylus at some point.
If someone can help me find a compatible cartridge or stylus, it would help make it work again, finally!
Thanks.

According to the picture I just viewed on a foreign webpage, that cartridge is a ceramic type with a flip over needle.

The photo shows the "lever" one would use to flip the neede around. Undo the screw at the top of the tonearm head and examine the cartridge closely on all sides. Use a magnifier if needed. There is likely some form ID - a brand name and/or model.

Or, take some pics of the cartridge once free of the tone arm and post them here. A good chance someone will know what it is.

Also a chance that the cartridge is dead or severely impared due to age. for some reason I hung onto several ceramic cartridges I found mounted on turntables after I replaced them with magnetic cartridges. I play tested a few a couple of years ago and they were faulty.

Thanks for the reply.
I already did unscrew the cartridge hoping to find something. I didn't want to flood the subject with photos.
On the cartridge there is only the mention of right and left and Japan.
However I just noticed a small inscription on the inside of the tone arm. I don't know if it's relevent or not.
I will try to check again.
In case I can't find any info, is it dangerous to blindly try a new cartridge?

That looks like a BSR SC5H cartridge to me. But do a few searches to compare pics to your item to confirm. Various flip over styli are available for it online.

Welcome to AK, @Adinath34!

Yep, Gary would be my "first stop" and he has a wealth of knowledge on these things too. If you were to send him some pictures, I bet he'd be able to fix you up nicely and for a very reasonable price too! At least, that has been my experience with him. Good guy to know and do business with......not sure if he ships out of the country but you can ask......carry on amigos.
