I have a Studer D731 CD player which works perfectly fine on its own but has displayed issues with the Apogee Big Ben master by showing the word clock input is over-terminated (red led light on the Apogee clock output 2 indicator).
At first, I suspected there was some issue with the Apogee Big Ben, but this has been ruled out because the Big Ben shows the word clock input has been correctly terminated for my other CD player, the Studer A730, by displaying a green led light on the Apogee clock output 1 indicator.
I have also ruled out that this has to do with the BNC cables (75 Ohm), the T-shape BNC connectors and the BNC Terminated 75 Ohm Connector because they work fine with my Studer A730.
This leaves the issue to be with the Studer D731 itself but I cannot identify the issue. Grateful for any input in dealing with the over-termination issue!
