I was given a non-working Bang & Olufsen Beosound CD/radio/cassette unit with Beolab 6000 floorstanding speakers (chrome). I know what the speakers are because they have data plates on them. The data plate on the CD/radio/cassette unit is missing so I don't know its exact model. Looking on line, a lot of the models look the same but they apparently have quite different values. I'm going to sell the system in its non-working state and I need to know what it is before I list it on Ebay. The unit turns on and the doors open and close like they should, all the controls work and you can even load a CD into it. But when you press play it just spins for a second and stops. Although I can repair some equipment this one is beyond my ability to troubleshoot. So my question to the group is, how do I determine what model this is? I can provide pictures of anything that would be useful.
