Need help identifying the value of this resistor please.

Hello fellow AK'ers. I need help with this resistor value please. My eyes cant distinguish the color on one of the bands therefore I cant order the resistor. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I do have a picture of how to look up resistor values but I the problem is my eyes wont cooperate. Any help will be greatly appreciated please and thanks in advance. Ben

Looks like RED/RED/SILVER/BROWN/BLACK
RED=2
RED=2
SILVER= x 0.01 (so 22 x 0.01 = 0.22ohms)
BROWN=1%
BLACK=250ppm/k

Double check against the schematic and measure with a multimeter to ensure it doesn't give a much higher value

Looks like an emitter resistor.
That value would make some sense.
Keep in mind , unless you have a meter made to test very low resistance It'll read high (higher)
If you short the meter leads , there's likely a residual resistance (the actual resistance of the leads and the probes. If you subtract that # from the reading of the low value resistor you're testing, it should be pretty close (if its good)

nj phoenix, I believe you are correct about it being a emitter resistor because they are right next to the output transistors. Now I have to find the value to buy replacements. This is for a Musical Fidelity amplifier and not much info online. I have found 4 output transistors to be bad and I saw 1 of these resistors smoke. Thanks for the information I will do as you instructed and try and test it. Thanks again

SS isn't really my thing but I gleaned a little here.
You should probably test the transistors in the driver stage before the output. They sometimes blow like dominoes. (Not always).
If you don't already have, build or buy a dim bulb tester. When you finish repairs , power on through dbt if it passes, you're probably ok

I have tested the transistors and all seem to be ok. I compared readings to transistors on the working channel. I will get on to building a dim bulb tester. I appreciate all your input and time. Thanks again, Ben
