Need help identifying these speakers

Hi,

I picked up a pair of vintage speakers at a garage sale-- there's absolutely no brand/model info on these.

14" tall
10" diameter for the top



Anybody know anything about these or recognize them? The guy who sold them said they're from the 60s.

Zenith "Circle of Sound" ....circa late 60's to mid 70's.

Not considered that good but will be ok for me until I get speakers for my Pioneer SX-1250.

Which begs the question-- what speakers should I get for a Pioneer SX-1250??

Well, that's subjective...but I'd give a pair of EPI 100's a listen.

You could blow those Zenith speakers into a million pieces with your 1280 if you wanted to. They look really cool but there is a gazillion other speakers out there that sound better.

Take care with the volume knob. Those are low wattage drivers.

Not considered audio worthy for Hi-Fi listening, but very unique. Take care of them.

+1 on the EPI 100's.
