Need help IDing a Harmon-Kardon receiver

Old age is setting in; I feel this urge to guy forth and re-buy all the stereo I ever owned. Well, except that BIC turntable. :)

At one point, I had a Harmon-Kardon receiver, 35w. Silver face. New in the late 70s. Can anyone help me with the model number or potential model numbers? I'd recognize it if I saw it.

Maybe hk-395i or hk-495i? the HKxxxi were the only harman kardon receiver with silver faces ? The 730 is also a possibility - silver lower half with dark dial on top. Lots of picture of the 730 around.

In between the hk x30 family and the hkxxxi family were the all silver faced hks with interesting cosmetics. Models incuded the hk 450, hk 560 and (IIRC?) hk 670. Nice receivers but not terribly attractive and not as nicely built as their predecessors.

Here's the hk 450 manual: http://www.harmankardon.com/resourc...atedDocuments/en-US/OwnersManual/HK450 om.pdf
hk 560 manua: http://www.harmankardon.com/resourc...latedDocuments/en-US/OwnersManual/HK560om.pdf

No sign of a 670 :-(

let's see if this image'll allow me to hotlink it...

mhardy, I do believe you nailed it. HK450--that picture confirms it.

Now to do some sleuthing for a deal somewhere.
