Need help! Pioneer SA-8100 Protection Issue

Here's a short video that captures the whole issue:

In words
  • Amp "protection" is turning on when settings are adjusted and blocking amp from putting out signal
  • Amp doesn't seem to be receiving any signals
  • I recently recapped the amp to try and fix the issue - did not fix issue
