Need Help Trouble Shooting a hissy juicy music pre-amp

Hi. I don't post hear much cause I am total novice with any thing under the hood of my system, but I appreciate all the wisdom on this board.

My issue is that my beloved Juicy Music Extreme preamp is giving off a loud white noise hiss noise floor in both channels capable of being heard up to ten feet away. It occurs whenever the machine is powered on and remains at the same level regardless of how high or low I have the volume set. I don't think its the tube his because if I turn the volume way up I can hear the separate tube noises.

It has always been there and I cant tell if its gotten worse recently or I have just become more sensitive to it. Speaking of sensitive, my preamp volume control does not have to be set high at all to achieve good listening levels, so perhaps this is something that an additional attenuator or passive line control would help with ? Or do I need to come to terms that something is failing ?

Juicy Music Extreme w. upgrade power supply by mark deneen / 6H30 Supertubes
McCormack DNA 0.5 Gold Upgrade
Braun L710 speaker

I am not familiar with the Juicy Music Extreme pre-amp. However, from your description of the volume control --- it sounds like someone put a linear pot into the section which needs an audio (logarithmic) pot. I've seen this a LOT in modern made guitar amps. Where the thing is at near full volume, at 9:00 or "3" position. Quite inconvenient.

The grounding arrangement may need some fixing. Photos of the amp's circuitry and chassis would be real nice.
