Need help with Goldmund VRS M2 monoblock

Long story short- I found a single Goldmund VRS M2 mono amp at Goodwill. I stuck around for about an hour to see if they brought the other one out, but no dice. I'll check again tomorrow.

Anyway, I found out why such a high end piece of equipment was at Goodwill. One of the MOSFETS took a major dump and burnt out several other components (or possibly the other way around). I have a few pictures (sorry they are a little blurry, my hands are shaky when taking pics).

I would really like to find out all I can about this amplifier, but it seems like there is little information on the internet. The company's page doesn't have info about all of it's legacy products. I know it's worth keeping in hopes that I can one day restore it, and possibly run across it's twin. Any info would be appreciated!

No, just one RCA input. I believe the "M" in the model name means mono. It does have an unused hole on the rear panel for a second RCA, but it's got a plug that covers it.

What's on the other side?

In your second pic down from the left I see another set of speaker jacks. A pair on the left and a pair on the right.

That’s just the ol Tripath TA 3020 circuit.

You could literally just buy a drop in board, they still make them with the four mounting in the back.

Sorry I didn't get a pic of the other side, I'll post more after work. The other side has a pair of binding posts, the main power switch and the power cord input. No other RCA jack, just the one one the left side.

There's some on eBay and random DIY sites. Just make sure the power supply on your unit is in the range of the new module.

That way you could turn it into a stereo or bridgeable unit adding another RCA. And you already have two pairs of posts.
