Need help with older Pinnacle speakers

Hello fellow AK'ers, for about a year now I've owned a pair of Pinnacle m200 monitor speakers. They are a large 3 way bookshelf design with walnut veneer. The drivers consist of 12" woofers, 3" mids, and 1" tweeters. They sound excellent but I cannot find any info on them. I've tried emailing Pinnacle 2 or 3 times with no reply. Can anyone help with some info on these speakers? Possibly when they were made (I'm guessing early 90's, maybe) and specs. Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

Pull some drivers and get the numbers off the backs, there might be a date code that would pin down the production date.

Sorry I don't have more info or links about Pinnacle. :idea:

I appreciate the advice. That will be tomorrow's project. It seems to be an illusive company to find info on. All the speakers I see that come up for sale look really nice and the few comments I have heard are all positive. They fly under the radar to say the least.
 
Nice! When the midrange has a 12-oz magnet you're doing OK. :bigok:

Never mind about pulling drivers - unless you were going to anyway, in which case, post some more pics, for posterity's sake. I wonder what the crossover caps look like. :idea:

I took the drivers out around a year ago. All the pics are in my old phone which is long gone. But I remember the big magnet on the mid, a fully capped crossover with no leaks and a sturdy braced cabinet. But, disappointingly it has spring terminals. Don't quite understand why the obvious quality in all the other components then go El Cheapo on the terminals. Oh well, easy enough fix.
