So i just recently got a belt off ebay and something doesn't look right with the way it sits with the shifter fork so when its on 33rpm the fork doesn't touch it at all but when its on 45rpm the fork is touching it is it possible if you someone can IMG_4054.jpegIMG_4053.jpegIMG_4052.jpegIMG_4048.jpegIMG_4049.jpegsend pictures or directions on how it actually should look when its put on correctly or if my shifter is broken or in the wrong place or something

Does this help?
(from the Akai Service Manual AP-B110/C)
It looks like the belt guide should be centered and not touching the belt for both the 33 and 45 speeds. If not, then loosen the set screw and set the height.

It looks like the belt needs to go under that silver shaft which (I think) is used to shift the belt down to the lower part of the pulley.

The belt won't slide up/down the pulley with the platter being stationary - turn it and see what happens.

If the belt still doesn't go down, the shifter should probably move to the outside more...if you didn't mess with the pulley height.

I didn't check the manual, but the silver shaft is probably just a guide/sliding rail for the belt guide/shifter. The belt guide/shifter pushes the belt down, when it moves outwards and up, when it moves inwards.
