Got these headphones today for $1 at a flee market. I cleaned off all the rotten foam, however I find that they just don't sound right.
On this thread, it seems other people praise these headphones due to thier sound quality:

The problem is that I'm not experiencing a good low or high end response from mine, just a load of ear raping, ear screeching midrange.
Then I remembered, I kept the drivers from my fantastic sounding pair of Realistic Nova 66s. They are the exact same size, and technically should fit pretty nicely.
My problem now is not knowing how to take out the original headphone drivers from my PRO-1s, they seem to be part of the plastic shell, held in by some melted plastic. Any suggestions?
