Need help with Scott 350

Thanks for the update.
I want to do a recap before I let it play for a long time. At least the white film caps and the can's.
 
I recapped my LT-110 a few years ago and it sounds quite good. Didn't do an alignment as it was pretty close as far as dial numbers were concerned.

I have a bunch of recapped vintage tube tuners as I find they sound so much nicer then all of my SS tuners ... although I have to admit I also use a couple recapped McIntosh SS tuners: MX113 and MR74. Actually I use the MX113 as a pre/tuner for my outdoor mono system as I can plug in stereo sources and get mono output.
 
I am now listening to a Scott 370 tuner, recapped and alignment by a tech, and I like I very much ( with a 222c )
But a 350 is supposed to be better so this one should be done too, but I want to do this by myself. If alignment is necessary then I can always go to the tech.
 
BTW, this first version had the subsonic filter out at the extreme clockwise position. Other iterations had it one notch left (like my LT-110). Confusing as the stereo image is reduced with the subsonic filter engaged (my 350 has the lettering completely worn off around the selector switch so I had to look carefully).
 
Great looking 350. I had a local guy restore a 350 for me and just
hooked it up with my Dynaco PAS2 / ST70 set up. Its a great tuner!

I have a Sherwood S2000 mono tuner that was restored by the same guy
which I picked up for $40.... Its definitely no slouch either!
