need help with speaker cables!

hey, I'm so new to this forum and have very limited knowledge on this kind of thing so hoping some pros can help me out. I found this ~43m reel of speaker cable in the council cleanup pile of my neighbors' place.

I've tried to read the info on it but can't make out the brand nor the specs of the cabling. I've got a general gist of some of the wording and will write what I think it reads as
"[brand] highest purity CU 1.55SQ NO.SNZ-1.5"
I assume that it's a high quality twisted/braided(?) copper but that's all the info I can muster.

Not aluminium, just a copper alloy. Many speakers wires are like that.

It's probably decent quality, but I can't tell the gauge, which would be the most import piece of info (also, I assume you don't use AWG in the UK [also, I'm guessing you're in the UK]).

In Oz, 1.55 sqmm wire is equivalent to 16 awg, here in N.America.
The 'silver' wire is most likely tinned copper. If you are not running high wattage, nor long distances, it should be fine for use in your system.
