Need help with T-85 Antenna Connection

Greetings,

I'm trying to get an F terminated antenna lead (from a Terk tower) into my shiny new (to me) T-85.

I picked up a PAL to F adapter at RS as suggested in another thread I found at AK: http://www.radioshack.com/product/i...cp=&kw=pal+adapter&parentPage=search#inTheBox

The outer shell is just about the exact size of the jack on the T-85 and the center pin too big.

I'm at a loss...slip on F connect obviously doesn't work either.

The T-85 manual doesn't identify it other than that there was an adapter provided new with the tuner.

Can anyone help? I'd be ever so grateful!

I may have just answered my own question by a Google image search then Google web cache....

Need a PAL female to F female.

I'll try to source one locally and report back.

Hmmm...strange they'd use different connector. My T-80 absolutey takes the PAL adapter like in your first post.

I did find a PAL female to F female adapter locally and it absolutely is what's needed, for the T-85 at least. The part I got was:

WALDOM 32-4001-BU F Female To PAL Female

And looks exactly like this:
