Hi, I bought a CT-340 'parts or repair' on ebay. Belts had turned to liquid but once cleaned up and new belts fitted it works great.
However, some of the tape transport keys or buttons have become very brittle and broken. The attachment is a small square socket approx 5mm across.
I have looked for replacements on line, no luck. Can anyone advise what that object might be correctly called or what/where that size or type of object might be available ? Anyone been able to come up with a work-around or alternative, say from another model ? I plan on using this to work in a home studio and don't really care if it looks funny,
