Hi All,
I am in the process of restoring a P.E. 2038 turntable. Due to improper packing by the seller, it arrived with a broken plinth and a broken aluminum idler arm (the part that the rubber idler wheel attaches to). Since I have restored both P.E. 2020 and 2040 turntables, I know this part is the same for all three turntables, and maybe for other models I have not seen.
Does anyone out there happen to have an idler arm I could pick up for my project?
While I might be able to fix the broken one with wire and epoxy, I am not confident it would not fail in the future. I would much prefer to use a good part salvaged from a parts table. Any help in finding one would be greatly appreciated. I happen to have a spare 60hz motor pulley that I could offer in trade, or I would pay cash for the part.
Thanks.
