Can someone who owns a pair of the Polk CRS or CRS+speakers do me a favor and measure yours and give me the measurements? I'm thinking of getting a pair for my rear surrounds and maybe a single one for a center to match my new found.......SDA-SRS!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll post the story and pics in $s & Cents.

From my compendium both the crs and crs+ have the same dimensions; 12-1/2"H x20"W x 9-1/2"D.
I have the dual tweeter 1st generation crs and it's one of my favorite bookshelf speakers. The sda effect is there but the imaging is more precise with a smaller sweet spot than it's bigger brothers. Good luck to you gettting a pair of them for the rears. That should make for an awesome set up.

Just took a tape measure to my CRS+ the later single tweeter version, and they are H x W x D : 12 3/4" x 20" x 10 1/8". One thing to keep in mind is these speakers (the SDA line) are designed to be stereo speakers and you mention 'rear surrounds' HT signals are discreete 5.1 or 7.1 audio signals so if the Bluray / DVD / SACD disk sends right rear only audio information and you have the interconnect cable in place your right rear speaker will get the correct signal but that speaker will also send some of the audio signal to the left rear via the interconnect cable, not sure that this is the best implementation of HT. Someone with more knoledge may correct me if I am wrong, but it is something to think about. I love my SDA CRS+ and passed an offer at twice what I paid for them, they are with me for the long haul! I would reccomend looking for something like a Monitor 7 or a Monitor 5JR+ (that is what I use in my HT) which nearly match the voice of your mains.

My polk sda compendium stands corrected:yes:. My actual measurements are indeed the same as tx polkhead. That just goes to show you not to believe everything you read.

Thanks guys. I guess the CRS won't fit under my TV for a center channel, but I just realized I have a pair of Polk 5Jr that I got for free awhile back and that could work as a matching center since it has the same (or maybe very similar tweeter).

TX, that's a great point about the interconnect cable and surround setup. Maybe I could just use them without the interconnect cable? Did the Polk SRT system use interconnects?
