Not sure how I didn't realize before, but both low tweeters on my Ohm Acoustics Model I have stopped working. Not sure when or how.
I am going to check with a multimeter today to confirm they are dead, but assume for now that they are.
I probably need replacements and after doing some research believe I have a few options (but let me know if there are others I'm omitting)...
1) Go through Ohm in Brooklyn and pay $245 each for what I've heard is a Wavecore tweeter with some kind of adapter flange
2) Buy new tweeters myself. Either the Wavecore TW030WA02 or something else that would work. I heard from a forum here that ScanSpeak D3806 820000 might be a nice upgrade. They can be got for 200 each, but that's less than going through Ohm for the Wavecores and they seem to be better quality... are there other suitable tweeters anyone would recommend?
3) Trying to find an original pair, which I think would be really difficult (last night I posted hopefully in BarterTown)
I don't have a lot of experience with speakers, but can follow instructions and use a soldering iron if needed!
Appreciate any guidance on what my options are and people's recommendations.
