I currently have a pair of Sonab C-10's (made in Sweden) and am picking up some Cerwin Vega LS5's (made in China)
I told myself I'm only keeping one of them.
Anybody have any experience with either?
The Sonabs sound nice to me but the CV's are smaller as I a limited for space.
any advice is much appreciated.

Try them first for a while, and see how it goes. I think you might end up keeping the one you already have.

sounds like good advice thank you both. (no pun)
I got them both fairly cheap, Just wanted to know if either had a history of issues of something to be aware of.
I am thinking the Sonabs will be the better choice on the country of origin basis alone....but?
I have heard the name Sonab but never the C-10 model.
I am pairing them with my $10 Advent Prodigys.
I am on a budget as you can see.

Sonabs color the sound less and have more accurate frequency response. If that's important to you, go with the Sonabs. If you don't care about accuracy and just want something that plays really loud, go with the CVs. The two are about as different sounding as it gets. I personally would keep the Sonabs and buy - or better yet build - a good subwoofer.
