Need some help with something very basic: wiring a fused switch

I picked up this nice little IEC/fuse/switch combo for the Guanzo 6N3 I'm assembling but I'm having a hard time figuring out how best to wire it up. Something about the fuse in their is confusing me...

Here are 2 pics, on the switch side and the other a "diagram" of how I *think* I should wire it. Not sure about using the ground pin at all??

You wouldn't normally break the neutral side via the switch, just the hot - which is the one passing through the fuse, as you have it shown here.

My question would be how the lamp in the switch is wired, and how that relates to the way the neutral side is connected.

Your diagram is correct.
You need to use the ground wire straight to your equipment case.

Just a note, but I always wire everything so that the switch is front of the line on hot. That way if you turn it off, you can't get shocked fooling with the fuse. If you've ever grabbed one to pull it out of the holder while it's hot, you know the deal.

Oh, I've googled my friend, I've googled. :thmbsp:
The issue is that 1) there are a lot of boneheads out there in google land and 2) that's where I came across a site showing to wire the neutral in with the switch. That seemed odd to me which is why I came here where I can know there aren't ANY boneheads.

At any rate, I got the thing wired up and didn't kill myself or burn the house down so I think I did good. The best part is the little preamp is singing right along and sounding great.
