Need Suggestions: Filling JBL L75 Speaker Cabinets

So, I picked up a pair of butchered JBL L75 Minuet bookshelf speakers from a Goodwill for 7 bucks. The cabinets are in pretty good shape but whoever owned them tore out the good parts and replaced them with car speakers.

I'm thinking I'll turn them into a pair of nice bookshelf speakers, but I need help selecting what to fill them with.

I don't want to sink more than $50 into these unless I absolutely have to. Used parts are totally on the table.

Thanks for looking.

For those that are wondering, these originally housed 2 x 8" woofers and it was a pretty tight fit. 8" would be the maximum size. I can make a new face to fit other combinations, but maximum size would be 8"

Look at MCM for some replacement speakers. But when only wanting to spend $50 might be near impossible to do!

Please help me out.

Not to sound rude, but you might be best served by taking that $50 and finding another pair of speakers to work on that had original drivers. Even if they needed to be refoamed, you could do that yourself and even update the crossovers. The ones you picked up could be used in the garage or basement, or turned over on CL.
