Need tips for photographing Mac glass face plate

I’m trying to get good pics of the face plate of a McIntosh integrated but I can’t avoid reflections. The face plate is perfect but the reflections make it look like crap. Any tips?

The bigger glass faceplates are even tougher to get a decent pic of as they have more area to reflect. I've found my best results is taking a pic from a slight angle rather than straight on. Trial and error works to. Take several pics with different settings which can be compared quickly and choose the one that looks the best.

If you have access to an actual camera, rather than just a cell phone, you can use a polarizing filter, which will help a lot in eliminating reflection. it's also useful for making skies a deeper blue and adding more contrast between sky and clouds.

If it’s for resale, take shots from different angles, so that glare/reflections change position. That way they cancel one another out. People familiar with McIntosh understand this issue with photographs. Then emphasize that the glass is flawless.

As a Mac owner/buyer, I’m especially concerned that the back paint isn’t bubbling or flaking off around edges, knobs, buttons, and the headphones jack on older models.
