Need to replace my Technics SL-1900's RCA cable. I need advice on what to choose.

I am looking to replace the RCA cable on my Technics SL-1900 with a decent cable (preferably off of eBay). There is output, but the cables have to be in in a specific position to work.

I have been thinking about this cable by Mogami (link). If anyone else has a suggestion for a similar price, that would be helpful.

i ordered that same cable to replace the leads on a 1300mk2 and they worked out perfectly.
 
Depends on your cartridge: If you are using an Audio Technica one, most of them sound best with a total capacitive load between 100-200pF. The Mogami wire you linked to is 27pF per foot (2.25 per inch) typical cables are 39" long, so you are already at 88pF before adding in the preamp. I use Blue Jeans LC-1 cables which are 11 pF per foot on my SL-1200GR2 with AT- VM740ML cart.
 
the mogami 2765 is the same cable i use on my harmon kardon st7 and i really like it
it even looks like a factory cable.
the mogami 2765 has about 17 1/2 pf per and is the zip cord style cable .

Would you say this is important in my case? I'm not really an audiophile, I just want a medium-high quality replacement for my damaged stock cables.

depends on your cartridge, but the LC-1 cables do allow you to use carts that need low capacitive loading anytime in the future.
 
The cartridge I am using is a AT-VM95C. To be honest, I do not think I am going to upgrade my cartridge anytime soon, MAYBE upgrade the needle.

The VM95 is not as sensitive to capacitive load as the 540/740, so you should be fine with the mogami cable. Try the ML (micro line) stylus in that VM95, it sounds quite a bit better than the elliptical/conical ones (I use the VM95ML on my old Marantz 6200).

Mogami makes quality cables. I've been using their patch cords forever. No problems.
