Needle for 1964 Philco Console turntable?

Would anyone have an idea where I could look to find out what needle I'd use in a 1964 console Philco turntable? There was not one in it when I obtained the piece. There is a marking on the thingy that holds the needle, but I haven't found anything at all that corresponds to that number. Any thoughts? I LOVE this thing and want so badly to play albums on it! The radio part works fantastically, and it's a great piece. Thanks in advance. :)

Sorry to sound stupid (no knowledge of this, sorry), but there is no model number ANYWHERE on this entire console unit - I disassembled it and looked, and the only thing I found on the turntable was a "1963" stampled in ink on one of the parts inside of the machine, and a matching picture to a 1964 identified model of the whole console. I'm not sure what type of needle to use - from what I've been able to find, the 1964 model should start with an "M", but there are a whole page of options available. Was there a specific type used back then, or is there a "generic" one? It is just a spot for the actual needle, not a whole cartridge thing like I've seen in some of the results I've found on line. Again, sorry to sound so stupid, but well, I guess I am about this.

The writing on the left side looks like it says N4150 (or maybe it's a SD instead of 50)

That's an Astatic brand cartridge and the replacement needle's generic number is a type 159. That is the Pfanstiehl numbering system. There are lots of reputable online places that have those available. One of my trusted favourites is thevoiceofmusic.com. I should mention that the 159-DS73 is the preferable one. It has a diamond tip for regular records on one side and has the special tip needed for playing 78 rpm (very old) records on the other side if you have any of those.

That's a very pretty Voice Of Music changer, much like many of the Zeniths of the same era. I hope you get it going!

That look _very_ familiar to my father's Philco console he purchased in 1963. Post a picture of the whole thing. They were sold through many locally-owned furniture stores as well as department stores of the day.

Given the age, I'll bet it is a tube-based model, right?

Likely last of the tubes/early hybrid. I own my late Grandmother's 1967 Philco-Ford console (she paid over $400 for it in 1967, after the Alcoa house fire, and did so because of me), it sits in my living room, and hope to finish restoring it in a year or two.
