Nestorovic mkIV 5as speakers

Nestorovic mkIV 5as speakers S9r andS9l. Have the optional leaf tweeters that go on top also. Does anyone know what these are worth?

Value is what you are comfortable with, Nestorovic speakers are really great speakers, not well known. If you like them and the price is within your budget... go for them and enjoy.

If you are looking for flipper prices then maybe you should pass if you do not think you can make money on them.

You do not mention asking price, also are all three models available?

I've seen asking prices between $1000 and $1500, for Type 5's. No way of knowing actual selling prices. Plus, I'd love to hear a pair of Nestorovic (or Speakerlab 50) speakers. They get rave reviews.

Sweet. I've seen that truncated pyramid before, but never realized it was a super tweeter, or that the tweeter was rear firing. It makes for better ambiance, I guess?

I don’t know. Haven’t hooked them up to anything yet. They’re rated at 350 watts and my biggest amp is only rated at 200 watts per channel. I do have a golden tube audio se-300bII but the preamp went out. Will these speakers damage my 200 watt amp?

No, unless these speakers are like Apogees that run at 2 ohms your amp will drive them fine. Speaker ratings are what the system will handle before damaging driver components, there are some speakers that will do the same, Infinity RS systems will do the same.

If those speakers are working properly there MIGHT be a better chance the amp will hurt them rather than them hurting the amp.

But you should be fine.
Use them, if you start turning the volume up and hear noises you shouldn't then it may be wise to turn the volume down and ask here for more help.

If your amp gets real hot, then it doesn't like the speakers. I'd go for it!
