Aside from the IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes ratings, the basic Netflix display does everything else. Being one that eschews bloatware and spyware on my machines, I personally don't see the need for this.

But, YMMV

I've found myself searching iMDB + Rotten Tomatoes for info on Netflix movies
Keeping in mind they have something like 40K titles it's not bad thing to have them linked IMO .

Your smart phone ,tablet , PC browser of choice ,ISP ,Google ,Bing ,smart TV's and many other entities and the web in total have become digital spy factory's and with limited privacy options available today the only way you can opt out is unplug entirely .
