Recently added to Netflix is a well-researched documentary series called THE SIXTIES. It's 10 episodes long and last night I binged on the 1st five.
It begins with the Kennedy assassination, followed by the Cuban missile crisis. Episode 3 is the civil rights' movement. 4 is an interesting look at 60's music mainly focused on the British invasion. And episode 5 is a humorous look at 60's TV. I'll be watching the final chapters tonight.
For anyone who is interested in that extremely turbulent and exciting decade, this series is a must see.
