New 1980 Klipsch Heresy. Worth it?

Don't see the risers or understand how there are scratches, yet "never opened", but they look pretty awesome. Do I stand better to just find some that are still good, but not new? I'm no collector.

I realize this is a question for another thread, but while I'm here, can my 2325 Marantz push these bad boys?

A Marantz 2325 is about one hundred times the minimum power required to run those. You would be fine.

I think he means the cabinets were never opened for whatever that's worth. If you're looking at pictures of them they have obviously been taken out of the box... I doubt they're new and that price is on the higher end for Heresey's even if they are mint.

That's what I was thinking, as they were obviously removed from the original packaging. I personally think that's a horrible price for a pair with scratches, but yes, it will mate up with your receiver.

A dollar goes a long way in the Midwest, it is not NYC. $350 is fair. I do not see original boxes that does not apply scratches if new never used.

$650 is way, way high for Heresy speakers imho. $350 sounds about right, though I've never heard a pair of Heresys that I like....but that's just me.

I'd hate to have dueling subs, as the threat of gunfire and swordplay would be too much for me... I think you meant to say, "...and with dual subs they're awesome!"
