New Acrosound project

These are a work of art! Absolutely amazing that you guys all were able to combine your talents to create such authentic recreations ( restomods if you will ) of the originals with such incredible detail. They look factory. An amazing accomplishment!

Really wonderful work Brice! Congratulations to you and the great team that brought these amps into the world. These are absolutely stunning with a much more elegant design and layout for the amp than the mono 20 amp. These "UL 20" amps must sound even better than they look.

I must have looked at the photos three times now and each time I am more impressed by the level of detail that everyone brought to these amplifiers. Bravo!

Thanks all you guys for the compliments on the result of our team effort.

And Master Onebean and Master Multichamp12 were kind to give me the 2 first amplifiers, with serial numbers 1 and 2. That was a nice gesture, gentlemen like.

No Scott, we haven't itemized the cost of building such amplifier as it was just a fun venture.

For sure the cost won't be near the far east amplifier cost, but I am also sure that sound wise, these are far for the far east amplifiers ;).

Tact.
Perfectly worded.
Tact: the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a fashon that they're half way to their destination before they realize what you told them.

If you want something done on this level of quality there are few options.
DIY, is the method I choose as well.

That's funny. We were shooting em out in the wild west today as well. No Acrosounds this time.
My contender was the MC30.
Walked all over the competition,
Strutted really.
How did the Acrosound ones fare against the competition?
What amps showed up?

I can say 1st hand at my tube amp shootout
That is one great Little EL84 stereo amp And a work of Art!
I even cranked up the volume on my Citation 1 preamp and Altec 604’s
Played Michael Jackson’s Thriller
Pretty loud with no sign of strain.
As luck would have it my friend showed up with his Radio Craftsman 500’s. Modded and running real Genelex KT66’s
Finally 2 lower power amps that was
By far the highlight of the get together
Hard to pick a winner, I might add
The Acro having an edge in speed and detail
And plenty of headroom
And the Rc having that lush Midrange and a bottom end to wonder how 12 watts can sound so good
Congrats to Brice on his creativity and success
