New Advent/Advent 1 woofer magnet square veses round??

I picked up some woofers from an Advent 1 for an Advent 1 and they look the same except the magnet on the ones I used to have is square(as are the ones in my New Advents). These have a round magnet. Production change??? Thanks,keith

The original woofers in the original Advents, New Advents, and Advent 1s have square magnets. After Jensen bought the Advent company, they used woofers with their round magnets in the equivalent later models (5002, 5012, etc.).

They are, for all practical purposes, functionally the same.

OK That is what i wanted to know. The guy claimed these are from Advent 1s but they are round?? The tweeters are the corret orange fried egg units.
