Just received an upgraded Denon DL 300 from our favourite re- tipping expert. Well, he is now certainly my favourite person to upgrade a phono cartridge.
Led Zep 1 happened to be at hand having revisited it last night. It inaugurated the DL 300.
I Get It!
Never has my system sounded this good.
I know, we’ve all heard that. Lots.
Seriously though.
After a minimal amount of tone adjustment & tweaking the knobs I flicked on DEFEAT. I can’t make the music sound any more lifelike than how it comes out unaltered.
Now giving a fresh listen to U2’s Joshua Tree.
Same Deal.
Tapping out now folks. I can think of no reason to buy another audio product!
