New cartridge for Lp120x

Planning on upgrading the cartridge for my lp-120x, was aiming for the Grado Green but I've heard there's gym issues on direct drive turntables with those, have also heavily considered the Nagaoka Mp-110 and very open to suggestions in the same price range, idk if the rest of my setup or my taste in music should weigh in on my decision but the record player is plugged into a Denon AVR-590 with Klipsch B-200s and my collection mostly consists of doom metal and rock

I have the grado green on a jvc ql-a2 (direct drive) and don't have hum nor have I heard of that issue before.

A buddy of mine who does almost exclusively metal listening has a ortofon OM10 and the AT vm540ml but he most often uses the grado black on his direct drive.

Idon't remember the specific cart(s) but a local shop recommends DJ carts for heavy music

Obviously results many vary and it's not the loud parts that are the issue it's gonna be the quiet passages with heavy bass.

I upgraded to an AT-VM95ML recently from the AT-95E. This has proven to be one of the best moves I’ve ever made.
