What exactly did the items win?

Honestly, anymore I never directly click on any message from anywhere important like ebay, paypal, whatever.

I always delete the email, and type the URL into my tool bar to make sure I am not redirected.

Evan

That one is pretty sweet!

You should never, never click on a link in a email and sign on. Once you do that you just invited trouble as the scammer now has your sign on information. Just like Evan's post above me I always manually type the URL and sign on that way, whether it is ebay, paypal, my bank etc...

Regards,
Sal

I know they are all phishing e-mails, but some times I like to read them just for a laugh, the fact they think people are so stuuuupid to believe an e-mail that badly spelled and written.. (what is scary is people are that stuuuuupid.. :scratch2:)

When I open them, I open them as text only, so that way if anything is in it, no damage done... just do it as a past time every now and then..

I work in IT, so I also keep up on them just because we do have users that ain't so bright.. :(

So, was it English translated from the original Cantonese by way of Korean? You just have to laugh as some of the phishing E-Mails. :lmao:

I've had the same guy from Viet Nam doing a socket probe of my firewall for a year now. I'm considering putting in a hole in the firewall, just to make his day. :screwy:

I'd poke a hole to a honeypot and sit back and watch... seen some funny stuff with people thinking they were in a real machine, and thought they were gonna take over the world.. ROTF!!!!!

Another clue(not that you need anny more)is that e-Bay always notify you using your e-bay name, not "Dear e-Bay seller".

I'd considered that but, quite frankly, I'm no longer of the age group which has the time or energy. :boring::music:
