Has anyone tried to connect a turntable (with balanced output option) to the balanced input of the PPa2?
I have used a Jelco tonearm cable with 2 xlr3pins and a Pro-ject xlr tonearm cable.
I have no issues with the unbalanced connection.
But when I try to use the balanced connection then there is a signal loss. Currently there is no sound coming through the right channel. It used to be the other channel but I made some changes.
When I look at the pin connection of both xlr3pins of the balanced Pro-ject cable, then I see that the ground cable is soldered to pin 1.
An Eleac support member told me to bridge the ground wire to the negative (pin3).
Any tips or solution would be welcome (sorry for my bad English).
