I remember the days of plasma tweeters. They never let me get close enough to listen to any of them though... I will try to remember what they were called, assuming that any of them were the same brands you sold.

The second hand market is fertile ground. The only thing I own now that I had to buy new was my amp. If you know what you are looking for, and do not have a taste for the well known brands (Nakamichi, Linn etc.) you can get most things really cheap. Cheap is subjective... Affordable considering the bank account crippling prices that many items sold for when they were new. I myself have always wanted a Nakamichi CR7 or a Dragon. Because of their continued popularity, I do not think I will ever pay what some well heeled people are willing to pay for them.
