Hi everybody! I'm a six month lurker, now a new member. I have a mostly 70s and 80s setup which was almost exclusively thrift-sourced. I'll be happy when my old Fisher SS's are finished. I mainly use my stereo to listen to vinyl or as an HT. I am an advent/AR speaker fan, though I haven't heard a lot of super high end modern gear, so maybe that will change. I like tube gear, but as of now only have consoles (and guitar amps) that are in that category...maybe someday my valves will come...

Oh, I also have something of a re-foaming mania (which is helpful when you buy a lot of thrift/flea market/yard sale gear.

Are there other WVian's here?

I'll add photos once I can figure out how to do that from my iPhone, or get home...

I used to go to Summit Point Raceway to watch the motorcycle races.....and drink.
Not necessarily in THAT order.

I bought a big stack of records at a thrift store in Masontown on my way to this year's Buckwheat festival. We actually ended up stopping at so many thrifts, we never made it to the festival at all...
