Hi. I have been lurking here for a while, and probably about time to introduce myself. I am from northern part of norway, high in the arctic. So nothing like a good stereo setup for those cold winter evenings. 
Have been thinking about getting a vintage amp or receiver for my second stereo system. The speakers it should drive is Usher S-520 bookshelf. Mostly drawn towards Yamaha vintage amps/recievers, the looks of those are great.
My main stereo system is:
Electrocompaniet EC-4.7 pre-amp.
EC AW-180 power-amps.
EC ECD-1 DAC
Denon DCD-1500AE cd player.
Speakers are DIY Seas Odin using two DIY Seas subs as stands.

Will take some pics tomorrow. I took a deal on a slightly used Yamaha A-S1000 for my 2. System. Bougt it from sweden.
