I stumbled here and am humbled. I have uncovered my first real stereo system from storage and was looking to see what I needed to do to bring it back into shape. At this moment it is:

Phase Linear 400 II Amp
Phase Linear 3500 II Preamp
Phase Linear 5100 II Tuner
Vandersteen 2C speakers

I just got a Squeezebox Touch that i am learning to use. I have a collection of some 57,000 tunes (about 400Gb) that I am trying to access and enjoy.

I also was just gifted a Pioneer SX1080 and JBL L110 speakers that i am looking forward to refurbing (if they need it).

I am pouring through all the information on this site and it is amazing.

Nice start there!! You'll fit right in. Do a search on Phase Linear for tips on keeping that 400 from going up in flames.

That is the first thing I have done...I shipped it off to a guy named Don Imlay for refurb. It is in process now!

Now to stock up on Deoxit...
