I've been lurking around here for the past year or so. Came across the forum while searching for info on a Harman Kardon 430. Since then I've ended up coming back often looking for info on vintage gear. Finally decided to join so I could access the pictures on some of the threads like the Econowave and Realistic 5B crossover upgrade.
I did end up picking up a Harman Kardon 430. Fantastic piece of gear, been on the lookout for a 730 ever since, mostly for the extra aux input. Something about the late 70s HK stuff just speaks to me. It has a very retro, futuristic look, if that makes sense. Would love to get my hands on an HK ST-7 and HK2000 cassette player to complete the look, but for now I'll have to be satisfied with the HK T45 that I have.
Recently picked up a Pioneer SA-9100, it came with a Yamaha T1 tuner and Pioneer PL117D turntable and Realistic 5B speakers. Not bad for $100. The amp needs some work, at a minimum it needs a speaker relay for the left channel.
Anyway, thats enough of me prattling on. I'm glad to be here and look forward to learning even more about the vintage stuff.
