New guy here.

Welcome to AK Flatwounds, it's a great place to be! :music:

I have flatwounds on my Gretsch Country Gentleman, awesome strings! :thmbsp:

Rock!! I've always used flatwounds on my P-Bass, and roundwounds on my Ibanez basses. What rig(s) do you have? I'm a SWR guy, for most gigs I use their Redhead model.

I have a pair of KLH Model 6's also, great speakers. Nice lower frequency response on them. Really bring out the warmth of vinyl.

Welcome to AK!

Well, I use ampeg stuff for the most part. I have a 74 SVT and a 67 b-18. My road rig is an SVT 4 pro. I also use one of their DI's called an SVT DI.

It has a vintage mullard 12AU7 in it. So that kind of crosses over into this world in a sense. :D

Yeah I really like those model 6's and didn't realize how much until I took them away from the advent stack and hooked them to the Sansui. They are great. I would like to find another pair.

Cheers to a fellow bass player.

Flats rule!

nice... i have a '66 b-15 also, but without the original cabinet. Love how it sounds but 40W isn't enough for a lot of gigs.

cheers!
