Hello, I'm new here and while searching what to get I was almost everytime rediricted to this community...so..here's my situation. My father in law gave me his Technics sb-k45 speakers...I do know they are not high end but I like the vintage look....here's my dilemna...I cannot decide what to choose between an amp/tuner to go with those speakers...
Pioneer sx-636
Pioneer sx-580
Yamaha CR-840
Sansui G3500
Sansui G4500
SANSUI TU666
Sherwood S7100 A
Kenwood KR4600
Marantz 1515
Or going for a Sansui 441 with sb-2500x speakers (lovely vintage look...and very goods comments also)
Or sansui G4700 with Goodmans Magnum SL speakers for which I read very good comments.
Thanks in advance for your advices.
The look of the sx 636 is fantastic...Welcome to AK! I do like me some Sansui, but from your list I would go with the SX636. Recently sold a refurbish unit and it is a respectable 25 watt unit. The purchaser lives in a condo and drives efficient speakers. He was very happy. Good luck in your search.
