Greetings from Ohio. Found these forums looking for information about my 30 year old hi-fi system I bought as a young serviceman in Okinawa. Great information here. I'm astounded with how many people are here and the knowledge I'm reading up on. Thanks for bringing back the memories!

Howdy bwagss. I also did a tour of Okinawa ('72-'73), loved every minute of it. Picked up my first stereo there as well. Pioneer QX-9900 receiver, Pioneer CS-R700 speaks, Dual 1299 TT. All that stuff is long gone, but it powered many a party, on Okinawa and back in the world as well.
