Hi yall...

I'm Phil, and I just got back into vinyl over a year ago (always had my older brothers maiden lps around when i was young)

This week I just picked up my foremans McLaren 602 Amp and McLaren 702 Preamp. But the amp needs some work. So i'm here to look for info and better my setup

my foreman told me it was an issue with the fuse, but it looks good

right now theres no power....i plug the unit in, when turn it on and nothing happens

i'm dropping it off at a local vintage hi-fi shop saturday

i paid 200 for both mclarens..i good deal i figured, these were extras after he upgraded to a 500watt system

..but i cant find any info on them...only thing i can find are TAG McLarens from the UK, but mine are both made in New Zealand

Sometimes when fuses look good, they can still be bad.

Nice! Hope you get them sorted out!
Regards,
Jim

Welcome to AK from a fellow noobie!

I always thought McLarens were for racing too. I bet Little Duece Coupe by The Beach Boys would still sound purty good through that!
