New headphone amp recommendations

I bought a Fiio K5 Pro and I don't recommend it. Despite what its specifications say, it will not play 24/96 files from my ChromeCast Audio in via optical.

That's a major problem for me. My dealer replaced my unit but the problem persists. When I play an analogue signal over RCA cables from the CCA, the Fiio K5 Pro sometimes makes a humming noise. I have a K5 Pro, and it plays 24/192 files just fine from my PC's USB port. I used mine with my CCA for a bit, but I don't recall if I played any 24/96 files through it. I've also had zero hum from its analog inputs. I'm just curious if you've tried another CCA.

Yes I have an extra CCA and tried it as well, the K5 Pro still would not play 24/96 files from it.

I’ll have to find a source that outputs that high. I may have a DVD-A disc that I can use.
