New here, and a question about a Yamaha MC-1s cartridge.

The effective mass of the PF-800 arm is 11 grams. I don't think the MC-1s is the best choice for the PF-800 (I have both). The vast majority of Audio Technica carts (AT-33ptg/ii, OC9 etc) body style and compliance are a better fit for the PF-800. The MC-1s is better suited to the GT-2000.
